Terms of service

Last updated: 2026. These terms are a draft pending legal review.

1. The service

VideoCallAPI provides APIs, SDKs and a console for adding video and audio calls to software applications. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate sign-up information and keep your password and API secrets confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account and API keys. We may review new accounts before activating them.

3. Free plan

The free plan includes 10,000 participant-minutes a month, up to 2 concurrent calls and no recording. It's provided as is, and we may change its limits with notice. Accounts created to avoid the free plan's limits may be suspended.

4. Fees

Paid usage is charged at the prices published on our pricing page or in your order form. Usage is measured by our systems in participant-minutes and recorded minutes. Invoices are payable within 30 days.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful content or activity, to harass anyone, to send spam, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with the service or other customers. We may suspend accounts that put the service or others at risk.

6. Recording and your end users

If you enable recording, you're responsible for telling participants and obtaining any consent required by law where you and they are located. You control your recordings and can delete them at any time.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but, unless an enterprise agreement includes an SLA, we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may end or suspend accounts that breach these terms. Unpaid fees remain payable.
